Now that it’s 2017, we thought it was time we can update that list. Using these local Australian business directories, you’ll be able to gain many benefits to your business.

Here are the top 10 directories to submit your business to in 2017:

 

DizyLocal Australia

DizyLocal started in 2013, and has since built up to be one of the biggest local search providers in Australia. All for free, you can register, rate and review businesses, post and contact business owners. There’s also a ‘search with suggestion’, that helps users easily find the right category or business. PureLocal

PureLocal is an easy to use directory which gives customers a simple way to find relevant businesses, products and services. Remember:

There are a few things that are important to remember when submitting to a directory.

  • Confirm your submission: once you have filled out an online form, you will generally receive an email asking you to confirm your submission. Your posting may be cancelled if your submission is not confirmed, so remember to keep an eye out for that email.
  • Biography: if available, make sure to include a biography that makes it clear what your business actually does. You want to make sure your company stands out over the competition.
  • Local SEO: to improve your search result rankings, you’re going to want to make sure you include details such as your full business name, physical address, phone number, email address, correct website address and if possible, your store’s opening hours. This will not only improve your local SEO, but ensure your ad remains in the directories.
